Hello! I'm Jay, the founder of J Fitness and Training and your dedicated personal trainer. My mission is to guide you toward better health through a holistic, functional approach to fitness. With extensive experience in the fitness industry, I specialize in creating customized workout programs that address each client’s unique needs, whether it’s enhancing mobility, building strength, or supporting injury prevention and recovery.Just this year 2025 I became one of only two people in Western Canada certified with the Intergral Movement Method, the only official certification recomended by the Elhers Danlos (Zebra Club) society for hEDS (hyper-mobilty)

Kyle Lobb 

CSEP

​Kyle Lobb is a CSEP certified fitness trainer who has graduated from NAIT in 2017. He looks to train clients who are new to the fitness world and are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and empathetic guide to help get them started towards their fitness goals and having fun along the way.

​

In addition to being passionate about fitness and improving physical health, Kyle is also a strong advocate for mental health issues, Autism awareness and is an avid practitioner in Toastmasters who is always looking for ways to combine all three avenues together.

Melissa (Mel) Fioriello 

Corrective Exercise Specialist

Mel Fioriello is an ISSA-Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and graduate with a diploma in Kinesiology. With additional certification in Tactical Sports Conditioning, Mel blends science-based training with real-world movement strategies to help clients perform and feel their best. Her true passion lies in corrective exercise—helping people move with confidence, reduce pain, and build sustainable strength. Mel’s approach is fresh, motivating, and deeply personalized, empowering each client to achieve lasting results both in and out of the gym.

Tia Eckart

Personal Trainer

Tia Eckert is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, who blends strength training with functional movement to help clients build real world strength that lasts. Her approach is rooted in belief that everyone deserves to feel strong, mobile and confident in their body no matter their age or fitness level.

Tia creates customized programs to helps clients move better, avoid injury and develop the kind of strength that carries over into everyday life. Weather you're starting fresh or chasing new goals Tia is committed to helping you stay strong for life.
